About Us
Dough Joe Bakery is a micro-cottage bakery in Northern Michigan born from a love of baking with wholesome ingredients and steady, thoughtful baking. Everything we make from breads, cinnamon rolls, pretzels, bagels, cookies, muffins, brownies, and and more... is made in small batches with attention to flavor and texture. Some items use long fermentation, others are quick-mixed and baked the same day, but the care stays consistent across the board.
Our menu changes with each bake day because we bake according to seasons, customer requests, and pre-orders. Some weeks lean more toward breads, others toward sweet treats or bagels, and pre-ordering is the best way to make sure your favorites are set aside. The Bread Shed opens weekly with a fresh selection ready for pickup.
